Pilot slogan - Typhoon
Hi,
I'm wondering if someone can help me track down the owner of a slogan that adorned a Typhoon (most probably TP-F, of 198 Squadron). As I understand it, the slogan, "If Fate Decrees That I Should, Then Fate Will Not Have Watched My Tail" was on the rear fuselage of the aircraft. Any further info on this would be appreciated. Thanks Adam |

Re: Pilot slogan - Typhoon
Adam,
According to a 198 Squadron website, they aren't so sure that RB222 ever flew was assigned to them. See: http://www.198squadronraf.co.uk/198sqdn_018.htm They suggest 183 Squadron as HF-K... Also earlier thread: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=3520 Unfortunately this all doesn't anwswer the question who the pilot was. Regards, Leendert |
