French towns
This message is primarily for Bertrand (with whom I was unable to contact), but if others have information, please respond.
Hi Bertrand, I hope you are well -- it has been a while since we were in touch. Could you please help me with two locations? Ramrod 822 on 2 May 1944 sent 72 Marauders of 9thTAF attacked attacking Busigny while 30 more attacked Valenciennes and 30 Bostons of 2ndTAF attacked Blanc-Misseron. Many times these records mis-spell the names of French towns, but since I can't find either of Busigny or Blanc-Misseron, I was hoping you might help me 9perhaps naming proximity to a large centre) for I can't find it on my maps of France. I'm sorry to trouble you and I hope this does not require much work, but I thank you heartily for whatever help you can provide. best wishes to you and your family Dave Clark |
