Halifax MZ806 MIA Nov 21/22 1944

Looking for any information on the loss of Halifax MZ806 MIA Nov 21/22 1944 that crashed near the village of Nieder Kinzig. Does anyone know if it was shot down by a nightfighter or by flak, and if so any details of the claim.

Yes MZ806 coded DT-R, trying to trace details for relatives of Sgt R B Hales who was the Navigator on board.

Hi there,
Dr Theo Boiten and Rod Mackenzie's 'Nachtjagd War Diaries Volume 2' has MZ806 as the eleventh victory of Fw Konrad Beyer of 1/NJG4,claimed at 19.30hrs in area RT-RS near Gross Umstadt.
Hope this helps,
Mark.
