Alfred Grilawski´s Bf 109 werknummer JGr50

Good night to all!
I have tried, but so far did not achieve to find out the WERKNUMMER of the Bf 109 G-6 flown by Oblt Alfred Grilawski ( white 10 with white rudder - a very photographed plane ).
Any information and about the fate of that aircraft would be welcomed.
Many thanks in advance
Adriano

Good luck with that one!! Unfortunately the FB of his that I've seen only seems to include his time with JG 52. I wonder if there is a another later FB floating around. Unfortunately, even if there was, the clerks (or pilots?) doing the recording of such information, only seem to report those details if from certain units. (The nerve of those guys - he says sarcastically....as one who's spent many an hour trying to match maddeningly incomplete FB entries to losses.)

Yes Jim...that´s what I thought...no werknummer.
I guessed that MAYBE someone who possess the book "Graf and Grilawski" could add more details about the werknummer, but it seems ( we can not find it on the very few pictures available of this particular Bf 109 G-6 ) there is NO additional info available on the net. I tried hard to find it...Many thanks indeed...I shall keep searching..

Re: Alfred Grilawski´s Bf 109 werknummer JGr50

Hello Adriano and Jim,

maybe this is of interest.
I found nothing in the "Graf and Grislawski" book regarding the Werknummer.
But in Prien Jagdfliegerverbände Teil 10/III Seite 221 there´s a list of the losses sustained by JG 50 and (and this is the interesting thing) III./JG 301 while using planes from JG 50 in so called "Aufsitzereinsätzen".
This means III./JG 301 flew the machines from JG 50 during "Wilde Sau" nightfighter sweeps.
On the 22.10.43 Fw. Kurt Degenkolb lost his life in a G-6 Werknr. 140 066 white 10.
This was a plane from JG 50 and as far as i can see Grislawski flew a Weisse 10.

Just a guess, but not a bad one i would say.

All the best

Norbert
