Re: Me 109 near Antwerp during Bodenplatte

Please note Rijsbergen and Galder to be south of the Netherlands, near the Belgian border at 46 km north of Antwerp city. Another Bf 109 G-14 crash landed NE of Hoevenen near Antwerp City (11 km North of Antwerp city and ± 5 km South from where I live.
(John Manrho's Book: Bf 109 G-14 - WNr 512314 - gelbe 5 - 3./JG 77 - Gefr. Helmuth Kofler - KIA - AAA - (Lommel War Cemetery grazve 2-58))

Could have been destroyed by anti V1 - AAA belt situated round Antwerp City.

My last research informed me of pieces still remaining in the ground. The story goes that there was first an explosion and then the airplane crash...
