Loss of three Bomber-KC holders in the mediterranean theatre

Who can help me please?
I need further infos (plane, markings, crewmember) for the losses of the following three KC holders from the Kampfgeschwader/ KG 76 and 77. All lost in the mediterranean area.

Oblt. OTTO BISCHOFF, Leader of 4./KG 77, lost 02.April 1942 over Malta;

Oblt. HORST MÜLLER, II./KG 76, lost 13. July 1943 over Sicily;

Oblt. HANS EBERSBACH, II./KG 76, lost 31.5.44, crashed in Spain (?).

Here is what we have on these three guys:

BISCHOFF (BISCHOF?), Otto.
(DOB: 24.09.15 in Essen).
(n.d.) with KG 158 prewar.
15.12.41 Oblt., awarded DKG, 6./KG 77.
02.04.42 Oblt. and Staka 4./KG 77, KIA – in Ju 88 (3Z+LM) lost off the coast of Malta during a night raid and believed shot down by an RAF Beaufighter.
03.05.42 Oblt., awarded Ritterkreuz posthumously, Staka 4./KG 77.

MÜLLER, Horst.
(DOB: 23.02.16 in Berlin).
1942 Oblt., in II./KG 76.
03.05.42 Oblt., awarded Ritterkreuz, II./KG 76.
30.03.43 Oblt., trf from KG 76 to KG 6.
07.43 Oblt., in 1./KG 6 (KIA 13.07.43 - in Ju 88 A-14 shot down by night fighters off SE Sicily).
00.45 posthumously promo to Hptm.

EBERSBACH, Hans.
(DOB: 19.05.21).
13.09.42 Lt.,awarded Ehrenpokal.
16.01.44 Oblt., awarded DKG, 6./KG 76.
31.05.44 Oblt. and Staka 6./KG 76, KIA – failed to return from night attack on convoy “Earphone” in the Mediterranean.
08.08.44 Oblt., posthumously awarded Ritterkreuz, Staka 6./KG 76.
(n.d.) buried at Dagneux/France.

Chris, you don't by chance have any aircraft info for Ebersbach do you?

But there are two different places for the loss of HANS EBERSBACH.
In Chris´post it is Saint-Martin-de-Crau in Southern France (near Arles), in Scherzer's KC holder-book it's St.Marti Sarroca near Barcelona/Spain !

What´s the right place? I believe the first one.

The NVM gives the location and time which matches with the 108 Sqn combat report and as Doug says, he is buried in France.....

You will have to wait until December as my records are at home. Failing that, the details are in Sea Eagles Vol 2 if I remember correctly
