Bf109 - nickname: "Feuerlatz" - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Hi,
A Bf109 with the painted nickname "Feuerlatz" on the cockpit's side
made a belly landing south of Aschersleben/Germany in the summer of (?).
Can anyone assign this plane to a unit ??
It was seen by an eyewittness.

To the eyewitnesses supposition this occured probably in the summer of 1944 (?).
Any US-fighter claims in the vicinity of Aschersleben for that time frame?
