Tactical code of the aircraft of Lt. Siegfried Müller

According to http://www.luftwaffe.cz/mullers.html on 8 April,1944, he shot down a USAAF B-24 four-engine bomber, but he had to make an emergency landing at Salzwedel when his Fw 190 A-7 “White 7” was damaged in the combat. But Mombeek´s book on Sturmastaffel 1 lists his FW 190 as “White 10”. Does anybody know which one is right?

Tactical code of the aircraft of Leutnant Siegfried Müller

Hi Jan

Prien has the following information on this incident.

8 April 1944: Leutnant Siegfried Müller of Sturmstaffel 1 in Fw 190 A-7 "White 10" performs belly-landing at Salzwedel due to aerial combat

I hope this helps somewhat.

Horrido!

Leo
