He 111 B3+AN of 5./KG 54

Hi all,

attached is a picture of a He 111 coded B3+AN of 5./KG 54. The caption on the back says "Hit by Flak - Airfield Malacky".

The same picture can be found in Radtke's book on page 36. The caption here says the damage occured over France. 5./KG 54 operated from Varrelbusch & Gütersloh around that time.

The aircraft hangar in the back seems to have a very distinctive roof. Does anyone recognise the airfield where this picture was taken?

Regards,
Rudi.
