Tremberth's P-51, 354th, as discussed prev

Hi, I'm new on here.

It's been discussed previously, but incident as follows:

11.07.44
P51 MUSTANG. Ticehurst, Sussex.
+
440711 P-51B15 43-24844 354FS 355FG (Steeple Morden, Cambs.) 122 8 BOEF 5 Tremberth, Floyd W 0-2035180 1st Lt ENG Flimwell

I believe Tremberth bailed out but that it was stated his a/c was located 'under' the present reservoir at Bewl bridge, Sussex (Kent border).

Is there any specific evidence to support this, and is it certain please that this was the a/c discovered?

Many thanks in advance, Dave
