8AF B-17 pilot with 90+ missions
Many years ago I read an artical about a pilot who flew 90+ B17 missions with the 8th AF during 1943-45. I think this makes him the record holder as a pilot. Does anyone know his name?
I know the record holder of 8AF missions flown by a crewman was held by a a B-17 tailgunner who flew 100 of them. |

Thanks, I believe the artical said that Klette having the most experience of any 8AF bomber pilot towards the end of the war he sometimes was the lead pilot/mission commander.
