Hurricane P3153, 56 Squadron, 18 August 1940 - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

This Hurricane was used by R E P Brooker to down a Do 17 over Ipswich on the evening of 21 August 1940 (sorry wrong date in header!) . Brooker was forced to crash land after sustaining damage from return fire during this combat.

Being Ipswich born and bred, I sponsored Brooker's name on the BoB Memorial on the Embankment.

Does anyone know the individual letter of P3153 at this time and are there any photos in existence? Also would anyone have a copy of Brooker's combat report that they would be willing to let me have a copy of?
