Fw. Xaver Moerz, member of JG 3 Udet, KIA in 1945 at 55

According to the enclosed Death Card, this Fw - member of JG 3 Udet - fought both in WW 1 and WW 2, and died at the age of 55.

Does anyone have further details of his outstanding career?

All

The time is interesting to me. At this date the German 3rd Reich was in a total disarray, so when was the card issued, at the time of his death or much later?

Denes

I doubt he was in a flying capacity in JG 3

Stig,

I would say the card was printed sometimes after the war, as 1945 is already given as the war's end.

I also think it's very unlikely that he was a flyer at 55, but never know, desperate times call for desperate measures. That's why my interest in this particular Luftwaffe man.
