Unknown Ju52 emblem

From which unit was this emblem?
Used by Ju52's that participated in the May 1940 campaign.
I can't find it in Ketley & Rolfe.

Regards, Pieter

The emblem seems to be the "dachshund eating Rata" which was the crest on the Me 110's of 13.(Z)/JG 5 in Kirkenes/Norway.

Re: Unknown Ju52 emblem

Hi,

it was used by I./KGrz.zbV.9 (by 1st or 3rd Staffel). The unit`s code was 9P. One Ju 52 with this emblem came down by Rijksweg 13.

Regards

Robert

Re: Unknown Ju52 emblem

Hi Robert,

Thanks a lot.
It must then have been one of the three a/c of 3./KGrzbV.9 that landed on or near the highway.

Regards, Pieter

Re: Unknown Ju52 emblem

Hi Peter,

from the photos I see that it could be 9P+ML, 9P+HL did not spot this emblem. I could not identify the third plane from 3rd Staffel.

Regards

Robert

Hello Dénes

I think this one is coincidentally 4./KGrzbV.9 accordingly to Ries and Ketley & Rolfe.

Regards

Chris
