Looking for Ju 188 crew or relatives
Dear all,
I'm looking for info (photos, logs, addresses, etc) regarding a Ju 188 crew or their relatives (addresses). The besatzung/crew in question is that of pilot Gerhard Grimm, a Ju 188 crew from 3./KG6 which joined 2./KG66 in March 1944. They flew with I/KG66 and the Ju 188 till the end of the war. The crew consisted of: - Fw Gerhard Grimm (pilot), born 8-3-1920 - Uffz Hermann Zacharias (navigator), born 5-1-1921 - Uffz Philipp Scheurer (navigator), born 17-11-1922 - Uffz Hans Riebl (radio operator), born 4-10-1922 - Uffz Hans Gruber (air gunner/flight engineer), born 22-7-1920) To my knowledge they never visited the I/KG66 reunions after the war, but maybe they did join the KG6 Association? Please contact me off the board. TIA, Marcel |

Re: Looking for Ju 188 crew or relatives
Nothing to deal with this crew, sorry.
Does an KG66 association exists ? If yes could you tell me more about it ? I'm particulary looking after 4./KG66 in late 43, early 44 on JU-188. TIA Mikael MERRIEN

4./kg66
Hi Mikael,
I'm sorry, the I/KG66 Association disbanded itself last year. But if you have questions I might be able to pass them on to veterans. I don't have that much on 4./KG66, desperately searching for info on that unit myself! But send me an email off the board, maybe we can exchange information. Regards, Marcel |
