ME 109 E propeller ?

Hi

This is my first post on this forum.
Could anybody confirm that this is a early ME 109 E propeller?

Re: ME 109 E propeller ?

Hello Andy,

Take a look at the bottom of the propeller. There should be numbers stamped in. The following number combination would indicate that it is a Bf 109E prop
9 11081

best regrds,
Tomi

Well, not directly. The usual markings found on a german propeller bottom are the three-letter producer code, the part number (in this case possible 9 11081), the "Satz" number and the individual production number of the propeller.
The individual production number could give a refernce when the propeller was produced, but to do that someone should have the exact production documents of the producer, which would be a very rare case.
