W/O Aleksandr Pietrzak, Ramrod 1514 on 23rd March 1945

W/O Aleksandr Pietrzak damaged one Messerschmitt Me 262 during the Ramrod 1514 operation on 23rd March 1945. According to the Polish sources it was Me 262A-1 W.Nr. 900154 (Sojda, Grzegorz: Polacy kontra Jety, in Lotnictwo z Szachownica, Nr. 11 [4/2004]). Unfortunately I can't find the name of German pilot anywhere. Could someone please help me with the identification of this pilot, if it is possible? That day the allied pilots should have shot down other Me 262 (F/O A. Yeardley,126 Squadron) and four damaged (F/Lt G. H. Davis, 129 Squadron, F.Lt J. L. Evans, F/Lt K. M. Giddings and F/Lt W. Harbison, all 118 Squadron). Could someone please send me the losses of Me 262 planes that day?

Could someone help me please?
JAN

I have no 262s lost on that date, nor any WNr. in that range - however, losses are very incomplete for 1945.

Hello,

I have got this one :

Steigerwald, Me 262, 111 948, 4./KG 54, Uffz Hans-Joachim Hübner, parachute, Luftkampf with P-51

I think there is a book about Me-262 losses, but I can't remember the title...

Regards

Martin

23/03 A Me 262 was heavily damaged or destroyed, at Bad Bayerhausen, 10 miles south of the Dummer See, by Sgt. (Warrant Officer) Aleksander Pietrzak, 309 Polish Squadron, RAF, who was flying a Mustang III

The "Polish sources" of the 900 series Me 262 would have been me, from my old list on Stormbirds.com

All unknown WN were assigned 900 so the computer data base could keep them separate. Dan
