Re: Photos 8-15-05

Hi,

Anybody got any idea what the rectangular thing is underneath this Ju87R that is where the main bomb normally is hung? Possibly a tool box or something rigged so that it can be taken to a new base with the aircraft? It has the letters AB on it. Any ideas?

Re: Photos 8-15-05

On another photograph the code of the a/c is visible and it ends with +AB, same on the case under the fuselage... So it is probably a/c on Verlgegungsflug with its 'personal belongings'

Re: Photos 8-15-05

Hello,

I think it might be a sort of "suitcase" used for transfer flights ?!
Cheers, Marc

Hello,
due to "AB" writing on the box, maybe an anti-personnal device ?

I think it was a suitcase or trunk with the crew's "personal belongings". The marking "AB" could be the last two code letters of this aircraft (it seems to carry the individual letter "A" on its port spat; it's not really clear - but if it's an individual letter it must be an A).
