Dear all I have the chance to obtain some Me 109 G-14 artefacts from a JG 77 crash, and was wondering if the JG77 experten amongst you may be able to assist me. The seller only has some limited information and that is

Crash site at Encherange which is situated between Witz? and Ciervaux. According to the seller these artefacts result from an excavation of relatively recent years.

Re: JG 77 Me 109 crash

Hi Leo ..... further research indicates that the artefacts most probably relate to Fahnenjunker Horst Sandkuhl`s Stab 1 JG77 Me 109 G-14 featuring on your list. Precise details pinpoint impact to Ciervaux in Luxembourg. I have no connections out that far to establish who conducted the excavation or what else was uncovered to corroborate identification. If anyone does have any details in relation to this excavation or indeed more details relating to Horst Sandkuhl I would be delighted to hear from them...Cheers all Julian

Re: JG 77 Me 109 crash

'Ciervaux' means Clervaux?
Perhaps contact John Derneden on this board...
