Ju-87B WNr.0878324

Any record on this plane? the Wnr. was printed in white on the canvas cover, guessing the prefix 087 is for the type.

Best regards
Francisco

Re: Ju-87B WNr.0878324

Without more information as to where and when, I would suspect the machine you're looking for is WNr. 5324, rather than 8324 - I have no other WNr. in that range.

Ju 87B-1, 5324, n.n., , , III., St.G. 1, , , , , 20-Aug-41, Bruchlandung., , Lfl.2/Eins.Osten, Gen.Qu.6.Abt. (mfm #4)-Vol.6, , Schatalowka, 25%, F, , ,
Ju 87B-1, 5324, n.n., , , 7., St.G. 1, , , , , 18-Nov-41, Notlandung due to Flak., , Lfl.2/Eins.Osten, Gen.Qu.6.Abt. (mfm #4)-Vol.7, , bei Makarowa, 100%, F, , ,

Re: Ju-87B WNr.0878324

Hi Ed,
Yes, most surelly; mid figure is somewhat blurred and '0' is more likely than '8' since at the early stages where B-1 served, not so many were built. (Before war the rate of building was 60 per month)
Any Entry for 0324?
Regards

Re: Ju-87B WNr.0878324

Sorry, no entry :-( I wonder if this might have been one of them going to Spain prewar?

Nationalist forces in Spain (Franco) recived around 25 Ju 87 A and Ju 87 B's from September 1936 to 1938, operated by the Condor Legion unit J/88, then from late 1938, the K/88.

.... Ju 87 A-0 (29*1) J/88, September 1936
.... Ju 87 A-1 29*2 Johlante Kette StG 163 (1938)
.... Ju 87 A-1 29*3 Johlante Kette StG 163 December 1937
.... Ju 87 A-1 29*4 ´Immelmann´ January 1937
.... Ju 87 A-1 29*5 ´Immelmann´ Legion Condor
.... Ju 87 A-1 29*7 ´Immelmann´ Legion Condor

.... Ju 87 B-1 29*8 Spain early 1939
.... Ju 87 B-1 29*9 Spain
.... Ju 87 B-1 29*11 Barcelona area, Spain 1939.

No W.Nr´s are known. Them codes are from various photographs (books).

Yes B models see the spanish sky, alongwith the earth also,

I traced 324 in dec.40 nd in 41 it was TP+AD at that time nd prob. received its STKZ when returned to Junkers so produced before sept/oct 39 , around 324 304/319/327/328 were all used be units during French campaign

Not a main Typenschild but from a part. Dated May-37 so from an Anton.
Found in a spanish front line aerodrome.
Anyone with a Parts Catalog could trace what element is 315

Regards
