Missing Gunner
Gents,
On Sept 2/3rd 1942 a mid upper gunner of No.218 squadron bailed-out on route to Karlsruhe after his Stirling ( HA-A ) was attacked by a E/A. The ORB and Combat Report records this gunner as Sgt S.V Reeves. I cannot find him in "Footprints on the sand of time" by Oliver Clutton-Brook or on the CWG register, also he does not appear to be an Evader. I do not have his service number ( ORB did not record NCO postings at this time) This has been bothering me for a few years now. !!!! ![]() ![]() Any pointers PLEASE !!!! Steve
