Ju-87,May 14th,1940, ZAVENTEM or VILVOORDE,Belgium
God evenig to all !
A Ju87 was shot down at 09.50hrs at ZAVENTEM / or VILVOORDE, in an area called "Molen van Steenokkerzeel " (= Mill of ...). 4 crewmembers POW (1 WIA), were brought to the Gendarmerie at Vilvoorde by Belgian soldiers. The engine was hit by AA. Aircraft was recognised by a Lt FLORET, G.T.A./III, Gr.13 Bie/f Section C.40mm. Report found in C.D.H.-archives. Who knows more ? Thanks in advance, Fredcompa
