Bomber Command event at Tangmere

(A heads up, which I hope is OK to post here)
On Sunday 15th May, RAF Bomber Command veterans will be in attendance at the Tangmere Museum Family Day as part of the public launch of Laurence Green's book Great War to Great Escape, which tells the story of Great Escaper Flight Lieutenant Bernard 'Pop' Green MC (F/Lt Green was a Bomber Command air gunner with No.44 Squadron). Laurence, the author and Bernard's grandson, will also be there. The veteran signings will be in support of the Bomber Command Memorial Fund. The current list of veterans is as follows:

Squadron leader Bill Lucas DFC, 9,15,162 Sqns, pilot, 81 Ops
Flying Officer Bunny Mason 90, 106 Sqn, rear gunner, 45 Ops
Warrant Officer Ray Akehurst 75 NZ Sqn, W/Op, 32 Ops
Flight Lieutenant George Dunn DFC 76 Sqn, pilot
Warrant Officer Hal Gardner 106 Sqn, Nav, 8 Ops
Warrant Officer David Fellowes 460 Sqn 206 Sqn, rear gunner, 33 Ops
Squadron Leader Ian Brownlie DFC Pilot 35, 77 Sqns, and a Prisoner of War, 38 Ops
