Heinzeller "SCHNAUZL"

Good morning,

I kept his LG2 machine as being a "Schwarze 12", did you? In my Bf 109 quest I completely forgot to give you a link for video extracted pictures... And I unfortunately cut the film and lost some picture when saving...
But I kept the following....
And it's not a "Schwarze 12" but a "Rote 12"!?

Cheers, Franck.

Hi Franck,

on this picture it looks for me like a "rote 12".

But this can be also a visual effect of the white outlines.

Yo David,

Hmmm.. Maybe.
I have another theory which involves the use of colour filters to enhance contrast and sky effect in background. I'm talking about press picture of course.

Cheers, Franck.

Hi,

As I was the original owner of the film, I still have the original clips...what do you need?

Re: Heinzeller "SCHNAUZL"

harrison,

Was this originally a Color film, or is it strictly B & W? Maybe I'm thinking of the JG77 film clip from the same period.

Regardless, Is there any personal insignias visible on these a/c besides the Schnauzel emblem?

Regards,

Re: Heinzeller "SCHNAUZL"

Hi,

I own the original 35mm film this clip came from. It was only done in Black & White, and about 1 minute in length...unless there are other parts of the film that I do not know about, as mine was chopped into 3 sections (broken).
