No.501 Sqn ORB 23.01.44 Air to Air Firing Incident

Hello All,

Would anyone have the 501 Sqn ORB for the 23.01.44 and if so the name of the pilot of Spitfire AB828 of 501 Squadron who at approx 13.10 Hrs when engaged in air to air firing practice with Martinet HP264 of No.17 A.P.C. fired upon and hit the towing aircraft resulting in Cat Ac damage.

If anyone has the name or any further details on this incident I would be more than interested.

Kind regards,

Tim
