Re: Photos + 9-8-05

Hi Ed,

Some real germs there.
I think this depicts the later Col W.Falck by the car. It's an early Bf 110 nightfighter, the car carries the shield of NJG (1) and the person certainly looks a lot like Falck.

Do you do your search manually or do you have a search engine working for you? If the latter is the case, I think you would find a lot of happy people, if you could expand the search to include radar/funkmess.

I'm not sure what you mean by manually. German word spelling variations require certain key words to be used to catch the majority of listings. There is a good book in English about German radar, but it is brief. The books by Fritz Trenkle, in German, describe an extensive number of different types. Unfortunately, they are out of print and require a search with those who sell used books.

Hi Ed,
What I was trying to convey was a request to look for radar pictures on e-bay while you were looking for aircraft. I have loads of radar books and original manuals.

Hi,

The http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...item=6206958552 are two nice photos of Sgt Truhlar´s Spitfire V AA865 of the No.313 Czechoslovak Sqn. He was s/d on 10/04/1942 and was POW.

Regards,
Michal
