Ju88C-4 - when did it enter service ?
Two questions if I may :
i) When did the C-4 version first see service and in particular was it used during the of the Battle of Britain ? ii) I think this version of the Ju88 was the first bomber to use the FuG16 transmitter/receiver equipment that was later developed for more widespread use in single seat fighters as the modified FuG16 ZY installation - I believe from about mid 1941. Again, I would be grateful for confirmation of that or for any further information. Many thanks. Nick |
