Fw. Fritz Haspel

Hi to all,

I'm trying to find out more about pilot Fritz Haspel, who served in the period from June 1942 till March 1945 in JG 1. Are there any pictures of him available, what happened to him after the war (I know he survived the war) and is there anything known about the crash he had on 21 Feb. 1944 and the plane he flew in that day?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info, Matti. I did not know anything about the crash on 27 July 1944. On 27 January 1943 he also crashed when defending the Wilhelmshaven. I assume that he also flew with a G-6 when he crashed on 21.2.1944, around 4 PM. That day he flew in black 3, though no Werk Nr is known?
I also found out that he received the EK1 & 2, the Verwundetenabzeichen and the Frontfluspange. I did not find anything about his postwar life so far.
