Schlachtflieger

In this booklet ,of the collection Luftwaffe colors a Bf109F is shown Blue one, drawing under shows the Wn 7629, so all in order, but the page after the Blue 7 taken from 3/4 rear seems to show the same Wn ...

Any explanation ??? or best looking ...

Hello, Remi

Are you talking about this booklet:

http://www.amazon.com/Schlachtfliege.../dp/1857802748

In that case I will have a look later on.

Regards,
Andreas B

Re: Schlachtflieger

Hello all,

Thanks Rémi to put this question. I have no direct answer except this:

1/ If we can see clearly 7629 on some tail pictures, it is not clear on Blue 1 complete pictures.
2/ It's not clear, too, on the Blue 7 picture you are refering to. Personnaly I don't read 7629.
3/ The Kracker list is giving YELLOW 1 for 7629 and 6469 for Blue 1.
4/ What's the number of 12672 ?? (See picture under)

Last, funny to discover than on Blue 7 picture one mechanical is bolting the rudder and that we have exactly the same action on one 7629 picture; clearly - once again - Liesendahl change the rudder when changing plane.

Regards, Franck.

Re: Schlachtflieger

Just more comments on 12672:

We find it in EJGr. West on 8/8/1942 bruch 20% at Fl.Pl. Cazaux. On 3/3/1943 in JGr. Süd, bruch 20% at Fl.Pl. Nimes and on 7/7/1943 in JGr. Süd, Bruch 30% at Fl.Pl. Orange. (as F-4!)

Cheers.

I have several machines for Liesendahl. The 'blaue 7' may well be WNr. 12672 (which in my notes I thought may have been an earlier code for WNr. 7629):
