F/L AR Costello 41781
F/L Alfred Rueben Costello left 112 Sqn on 1 May 1942. (Source - Those other Eagles)
He joined 127 Sqn at St Jean shortly after and it is recorded in the ORB that he led 3 Hurricanes, escorting the Duke of Gloucester to Cyprus on the 22 May 1942. This is the last time he is mentioned. He is listed in the Oct 1945 AFL. Has anyone come across him after he left 127 Sqn? Thanks Andy Last edited by Andy_Ingham; 16th May 2011 at 16:46.
