He111P
Hi,
Had a few technical hitches getting the photo uploaded, but I have sorted things out now. So, is it just my imagination or is there a side-mounted machine gun fitted to this Heinkel? There seems to be a small square portion of glazing cut into the side of the canopy and I was wondering if that was the barrel of a machine gun protruding from it. If it is, then I have never seen this arrangement before, and would be very interested to see any other photos any of you may have showing a similar fitting. Image is from an e-bay auction from earlier this month. Thanks, Paul Last edited by obdl3945; 9th April 2012 at 04:26. |
