Ju52 (Ju.34)claim 24-4-1942
On the 24th April 1942 a claim was submitted for a Ju52 shot down while flying north to south over the Scheldt estuary. The combat film changed this claim to a Ju.34 which was seen to have gone down smoking into the sea, it took no evasive action and only fired a red flare. Could anybody identify this aircraft please and crew fate etc. I believe this Ju.34 fell to Spitfires of 121 Sqd. at 1445hrs,
