Need help ID'ing an FW equipped unit

Guys:

Was looking at Stan Stokes Painting of a 446 BG B24 called 'Hula Wahine' that escaped from an FW190 by literally flying at tree top level; The mission took place on January 29 1944. I was wondering if anybody knows what unit that FW belonged to & if it survived the engagement--it was reportedly shot down by the nose gunner.

Thanks, ahead of time;

NM

Nick - if you could post an image - or a link to stokes painting -it will help narrow the guesswork?

Hello,

Rau was lost on the 27/01/44 in Brussels (Forest or Vorst).Schäfer was lost indeed the 29/01/44 near Bastogne but was flying a Bf 109... Perhaps the pilot was'nt killed?

Bye
