Need help ID'ing an FW equipped unit
Guys:
Was looking at Stan Stokes Painting of a 446 BG B24 called 'Hula Wahine' that escaped from an FW190 by literally flying at tree top level; The mission took place on January 29 1944. I was wondering if anybody knows what unit that FW belonged to & if it survived the engagement--it was reportedly shot down by the nose gunner. Thanks, ahead of time; NM |
