Hungarian Fighters August 24 1944
Hallo,
an uneventful mission happened on August 24 1944. Eleven Hungarian Fighters from 101st Fighter Wing "Puma" took off at 9.40 o´clock from Veszprem A/F to attack US bombers, but they were bad navigated and any encounters took place. Could somebody add more information? Is known from which Squadron they were? Who did lead this formation? Thanks for help |

Re: Hungarian Fighters August 24 1944
The only note I've found of this uneventful mission is in the transcript of the Logbook of Lt. Gyorgy Debrody. He noted that during an one-hour-and-half-long mission no enemy was encountered. At that time, he was member of the 3/101. Fighter Squadron.
