Looking for info on crash-landed HE111 (A1+ER) III/KG53

Hi all,

I'm looking for information on a HE111 from III/KG53 (7.Staffel) code A1+ER. It crash-landed somewhere between Bulson and Chemery-sur-bar in France. This is the only info I have.

Does someone know why it crashed and when? crew?

Kind regards, Thomas

Hi John,

Thx for your reply! 6/KG53 and A1+ER don't correspond? "R" must be 7th Staffel. The damage to the plane was not 60%, so think it is not the one i'm looking for. Will upload a picture of it when I have time.

Regards, Thomas

I now know that the A1+ER I'm looking for came down in July 1940.
