Fritz Losigkeit (KC) in Japan

Hi,

does anyone has imore specific information from the period in which Fritz Losigkeit (KC holder) served in Japan (Tokio) from may 1941 until january 1942? Losigkeit flew in JG1, 26, 51 en 77.

He was in Japan a luft attache and trained japanes fighters on 3 Bf-109's.

LOSIGKEIT, Fritz. (DOB: 17.11.13 in Berlin-Tegel). (R, DKG). 1938-39 in Spain with J/88 of the Legion Condor where he was shot down on 10.02.39 and captured. 01.05.39 in JG 2. 23.09.39 Hptm., appt Staka 2./JG 26 (to 17.05.41). 05.41 attached to the German Mission in Tokyo (to early 1942). 15.02.42 Hptm., appt Kdr. Jagdgruppe Losigkeit. 15.03.42 Hptm., appt Kdr. IV./JG 1 (to 01.04.43). 01.04.43 Hptm., appt Kdr. I./JG 1 (to 18.05.43). 01.06.43 Hptm., appt Kdr. I./JG 26 (to 19.06.43). 19.06.43 Hptm., appt Kdr. III./JG 51 (to 30.04.44). 01.08.43 promo to Maj. 11.10.43 awarded Ehrenpokal. 17.10.43 Maj., awarded DKG, III./JG 51. 01.04.44 Maj., appt Kommodore JG 51 (to 31.03.45). 01.04.45 Maj., appt Kommodore JG 77 (to 08.05.45). 28.04.45 awarded the Ritterkreuz. Credited with c.750 combat missions and 68 air victories. †14.01.94 in Hünxe.

I have found out today that 3x Bf-109 were shipped in U-boots and went to Japan. Incredible...

Here they were tested by Losigkeit and his Japanese comrades.
