Need ID of date/pilot/WNr for force-landed Ju87B T6+EP of 6./StG2 near Trier Germany winter 1939-40

Hello,

I'm trying to locate information for a color profile of Ju87B T6+EP of 6./StG2 that apparently tried to land wheels down then tipped on its nose on a steep hillside somewhere around Petrisberg near Trier, Germany, during the winter of 1939-40. Four photos of this a/c appear on P.122-3 of German Aircraft Markings 1939-1945 by Kenneth A. Merrick. The a/c carries the unit "Felix the Cat" with an umbrella Staffel insignia. Other images of this a/c have appeared on eBay over the years. Photos have also appeared in the photo album of a German soldier who was a member of 8./Flak-Rgt.14. that from 16.11.39 to 16.2.40 was stationed near Petrisberg. The EOE research team thinks that this puts a general place and time period on this incident. Photos also indicate that there is a W.Nr. in white on the top of the fin, which we've not been able to decipher. Any info on the crew name or cause of the incident would also be appreciated.

Can anybody help with further info on this one?

Regards,

Hello,

We now have the W.Nr. for this Stuka, but still need location, date and crew names.

Regards,
