Sgt. Burnett 51 Squadron RAF
Dear all,
Can anyone helping me with some questions about Sgt. Burnett. He was a crewmember of Halifax LW498 51 Squadron who crashed on May 25th 1944 at Grathem-Holland. He became POW Sgt Burnett was repatriated aboard the SS Letitia 2Feb45. What was the first name of Burnett ? What was his servicenr. ? Which POW camp he was and wich nr. ? Thanks in advance, Michel

There is a MACR filed on fold3.com for this aircraft. It is listed as "Lw/498" . There is not a lot of information, but W/Operator Sgt Burnett is listed as "R. Burnett", and his serial number is given as 1343994.
