Bf 109E-7 wk.nr. 1983
Hi Folks
Perhaps some new info has come to light, so I thought I would ask if any one knows the tactical number and pilot of this 109? TIA Dave Messerschmitt 109E-7 wk.nr.1983, Red ? of 5./JG5 Shot down on the 24.01.42 following combat with the Hurricanes of 2./ 760.IAP VVS 14A at Kovda and made a belly landing , the pilot surviving.

Dave,
It is either going to come from another log book - will check Mendl and Stiglmair or one of the Storch pilots. This was the first loss with 5./JG5. Can probable start to deduce ID number from other losses but not much more at the moment. regards Mark
