Date that Hptm Waldemar Plewig gave up command of 8./StG2 & who succeeded him?

Hello,

I'm trying to sort out the command of III./StG 2 during 1939-40 for the EoE Project. I know that Hptm. Waldemar Plewig was StaKap off 8./StG2 from before the beginning of the war until about Feb., 1940. According to Doug Stankey, Oblt. Lothar Lau took over the Staffel on March 9, 1940, until his shoot down and capture near Maastricht on May 11, 1940. Does anyone know when Plewig left this position and moved to II./StG 77? Who filled the gap between his departure and Oblt. Lau taking command? This may have been only a couple of week gap here, which may have had someone filling in as temporary StaKap, but I'm trying to fill this in if there really is a gap.

Lothar lau was made staffelkapitain of 8St.G.2 on march 40 and continued his carreer with that outfit...
born at Koningsberg in 1913 and already an established and skilled gliderpilot he volunteerd for the luftwaffe while serving as an officer cadet in aninfantry regiment he was immediatly taken by the luftwaffe and sent for pilot training He qualified on29 april 1936 was promoted to leutnant and transferred to the stukas the following year by 39 was an oberleutnant with the St.G. 77

larry, in the book of stukageschwader 2 immelmann written by Holger nauroth its stated that Lau was with the 8staffel march 1940 until july 1941

Plewig was a commanding officer from 15-5-40 until 8-8-40 with the IISt.G. 77
