Leutnant Gerhard Fischer, killed on 15.08.1944, Italy
Hi,
I'm in possession of a private photo showing Gerhard "Gerd" Fischer smiling to the photographer. He is wearing the LW tropical uniform and he also wears the Flugzeugf.abz. The photo is taken only 1 month before he died in Italy. Pherhaps anybody could provide any further information about his unit and cause of death ?? Born : 06.07.1919 Died : 15.08.1944 (buried in Costermano, Italy) Warmest regards, Jagdkomm.
