Ottokar Pohl 5./JG2, 2./JG 77, 3./JG 77

Hi Guys

Could anybody please help with this pilot, apart from his claims i know nothing about him. Am looking for a Date of Birth, and death if he has one, I have no losses for him, yet his claims end 2nd July 1943.

The first one below was with 5./JG2, the last with 3./JG77, the others with 2./JG77. Grateful for any help with him. All claims were made as a Feldwebel.

Killed mid to late 1944, or training units?

Kind Regards

Re: Ottokar Pohl 5./JG2, 2./JG 77, 3./JG 77

I found this Website
http://www.jg5.szm.com/Verlusten/pohl_ottokar.htm
but I'm not sure this is correct. There is no mention of Fw Pohl in theJG-5 histories I have.
Also, there is this excerpt from the Web,originally from the Montreal Gazette July 1968:
"Ottokar Pohl, president of the Czechoslovakian National Bank, was in West Germany recently talking with several commercial bankers."
Because of the unusual name, I think this could be the same person.

The link above is for a simulator team using names of real WWII pilots. It has nothing to do with the real Ottokar Pohl.
