Re: Dornier Do 17P Wnr.3577

Maybe it should be Ju 52?

26.03.1942, K.Gr.z.b.V. 700, Ort: Unbekannt, Ju 52, W.Nr. 5737, 100%, Uffz. Hintzel (F), Gefr. Reinert (Bf), Uffz. Hernschn (Bm), Uffz. Albrecht (Bs) - vermisst

I have not found Do 17P W.Nr. 3577 on the GQM lists from late March 1942 to late April 1942.

Re: Dornier Do 17P Wnr.3577

Full unit details? Other than adding that Nachtst. (or Nachtaufkl.St. which I think is the same unit) was a unit that apparently did night time recon and that had losses throughout the 41-43 years to per the GenQu. losses, there really isn't an awful I can add - the little bit I have for 44-45 says that the unit continued to operate until the end. If I recall correctly, there are losses for this unit in the late-war Lfl.6 loss documents and from the 'LW over Czech Territory' book that came out some years ago. I have losses for 1., 2., 3., 4. and Erg.St for this unit - again with various reported designations. It seems to be one of those units that appears in many of the available loss sources, but there doesn't appear to much else for documentation. Maybe Larry De Z. or Doug S. know more?
