1944 HE 177 Pilots Relics

A long shot i know but, I have just aquired the Lugar and pilots badge taken from Feldwebel Heinz Reis when his HE177 6N+AK Werk No 332379 of 2/KG 100 was shot down on the night of April 8th 1944 by a Mosquito.

Does anyone know if Mr Reis is still alive or have further details pictures etc..on the actual aircraft or crew either before or after its crash.
