Loss 18/4/1940 WNr.3403 Schwarze 8 5./JG 52

Hello,

This loss is in Prien JVF Teil 2, page 334 and we can find four pictures covering this accident in pages 344 and 345 ...
Except I don't think the "Schwarze 8" is the same in both pages.
P344 we clearly see Weisse 7 and the (said) "Schwarze 8" is on its feet the right wing is not damaged.
P345, we can see "one" Schwarze 8, on belly and the right wing is damaged.

So? comments?..

Cheers, Franck.

PS: Just to resolve a recent eBay picture ...
I forgot: More, Two blades (maybe three) are bended P345 when only one P334. So .... The second picture ... 11/5/1940, Speyer 20%; involving the same plane? If not, which one is WNr. 3403?

Re: Loss 18/4/1940 WNr.3403 Schwarze 8 5./JG 52

Hi gents,

back on same question:
First picture is the recent eBay picture I was talking about. Almost the same published on JVF Teil 2 page 345.
And ... fortunately, I got the second one hidden behind a "Rote 8" caption! Effectively, three blades are bended. looks like a "Startausgebrochen" described for the 17/5/1940 loss ....

Cheers, Franck.

Note you can see the damaged wing in second picture without doubts.
