Lt Gerhard Wiedenhoft

Im looking for a loss report for the following airman.
Lt Gerhard Wiedenhoft failed to return from operations July 1940 with a bomber unit.
Could anybody help provide a loss report and perhaps his crew also, if its not to much trouble.

Best regs,
Steve.

Re: Lt Gerhard Wiedenhoft

Many thanks Matti, since you have provided the unit confirmation, this loss appears in Walter Waiss's " Boelcke-Archive" Band II pg 195 also lists a Wilhelm Schillberg killed with this crew. Do you have any information on this individual?

Rgs,
Steve.

Re: Lt Gerhard Wiedenhoft

Thank you Matti for providing the info for Schillberg.
Do i interpret this as shot by pistol, suicide?

Best regs,
Steve.

Re: Lt Gerhard Wiedenhoft

I think accident (Unfall). Don't know whether he was handling the pistol or some one else. Maybe just cleaning an "empty" weapon.
