Lt. Walter Hoehler + 08.12.1941

Hi Guys,

Today I am searching for the loss details of Lt. Walter Hoehler of JG2 on the 08.12.1941. Would like to create a page of remembrance for this airman so any details would be greatfully recieved.

Hi Mervin

Höhler was born on 26th May 1921. He completed his training during 1940 with 2./Jfs5. On 6th December 1941 he went missing in combat with Allied aircraft over the sea near Boulogne, France his Bf109 coming down between 1510hrs and 1600 hrs.

He had fourteen confirmed claims, the first ten with 7./Jg2, and last four with 8./Jg2.......all as a Leutnant, and all Spitfire's:-

23rd June 1941 2030 hrs Nr.1
25th June 1941 1635 hrs Nr.2
11th July 1941 1508 hrs Nr.3
12th August 1941 1312 hrs Nr.4
18th August 1941 Gravelines 1625 hrs Nr.5
17th September 1941 1905 hrs Nr.6
18th September 1941 1609 hrs Nr.7
20th September 1941 1642 hrs Nr.8
21st September 1941 X 2 1624 hrs & 1743 hrs Nr.9 & Nr.10
2nd October 1941 1503 hrs Nr.11
8th November 1941 X 3 1228 hrs, 1230 hrs & 1238 hrs Nr.12, Nr.13 & Nr.14
