Re: Wolfgang Spaete's JG7 claims
Hi Nokose,
A definite loss to Me262s on 17.4.45 was B-17G-55-DL 44-6568/DF-G "Skunkface III" of 324th BS, 91st BG, 8 KIA and 1 POW, whilst B-17G-55-BO 42-102544 "Sack Time" of 303rd BG was attributed to Flak. On the 19th, a definite loss to Me262s was B-17G-5-BO 42-31188 "Dead Man's Hand" of 447th BG, Lt. Robert Glazener and crew all POW except one man KIA For the 25th of April, all I have is this: Losses over Pilzen, Czechoslovakia include B-17G-45-BO "Godfathers Inc" 42-97266 of 602nd BS, 398th BG. 303rd BG lost B-17G-80-DL 44-83447 over Germany Not a hell of a lot to go on, I know, but I hope it helps...
