Rick, all I have is II/KG40 Do217 E-1 F8+EC 5093 on 9-8-41 lost to unknown cause and place. Ff Oblt.Kurt Muller, B Ofw.Heinz Ruggebrecht, Bf Ofw. Willi Obermann and Bs Fw.Otto Simon all missing. I believe at the time they were based at Cognac under Fl.Fuh. Atlantic so they are likely to have been lost over the sea,

Michael, thanks for the correction the 'K' report for the POW from the III/KG40 He 111 on the 9-8-41 does in fact say the whole of II and III/KG40 were at Soesterberg on the 9-8-41,
