Re: Need help about RAF 248 Sqn.

Hi Many

This is quite a big request - you are talking about photocopying possibly 50-60 pages at a cost of £20-£25.00 plus postage. But it's the time factor. I hope to visit Kew this week (painful knee permitting) but I couldn't promise to undertake this for you - I wouldn't have much time for my own work (it takes me six hours to travel there and back each time I visit, which makes it a long day).

Sorry
Brian

Re: Need help about RAF 248 Sqn.

Hello Brian .

Thank you for your help,

the main interest is between 16th august to 26th august 1944 and all missions over the atlantic coast of France, and which typ of Mosquito used this Squadron during this period.

Thank you again

Re: Need help about RAF 248 Sqn.

Not that much help I guess but 248 Sqn used the FB. Mk VI and the FB Mk XVIII Tse-tse in that time frame, flying out of Portreath in Cornwall.

Hi Many

I can't get to PRO this week, but definitely next week - even if I have to use a Zimmer frame!
